Reverse may not necessarily mean reverse in fact it could mean forward.

Two seminars: Making Success of Your Marriage with two different facilitators but you’ve got the opportunity to attend just one, which one will you attend? Please wait o.

Cars move forward to get to a destination but they can also get to same by reverse. In fact cars reverse many times to go forward; in the same vein chickens first bend down to jump up or fly.

The two resource persons were Mrs Towobola Koledowo her CV reads 40 years of blissful, peaceful and successful marriage and counting. The other resource person – Mrs. Fowomola Onilenla’s CV profiles – married three times to three different men and finally divorced now single again.

I can tell you categorically that if 2,000 people volunteer to attend the seminar 1,900 would attend the first and the remaining 100 would attend the second.

Out of the 100 twenty (who are interestingly men) may likely want to ‘spy’ and see if she’s got the looks or some special features so they can possibly ask her out.

10 from both genders may come to see the hot woman tasting and changing men like commuters asking the conductors for change.

20 may likely be motivated by sympathy maybe empathy to protect her from embarrassment due to extremely low or no turn out.

Now 20 more may come because they want to ‘see’ movie though not in the cinema and perhaps only 30 people are motivated to truly learn something new.

The conventional training in schools is teach them so that pupils can learn but late physician and educationist Maria Montessori did the reverse, learn from them (pupils) in order to teach them appropriately and that gave birth to Montessori-schooling – both versions are good as far as I’m concerned.

Many say first children (talking about birth order now) are born leaders – yes and no. Leaders are  followers which make them lead effectively and in this context first children maybe too magisterial to lead effectively – not a hypothesis though but because their status bestows leadership on them first children may excel as leaders.

“Last children are not leaders,” says who? Last children follow and learn so much so that they become skilled and tactical and become leaders as a result. Good leaders learn that’s why they become great leaders.

I’m sure you know that you can’t follow as well as learn if you don’t have humility!

Now to the nitty-gritty, I would attend the seminar of Mrs. Fowomola Onilenla (the woman who didn’t do well marriage-wise) I want to know why her marriage didn’t work to have a feel of what makes marriage works.

“I’ve missed more than 9,000 shots in my career. I’ve lost almost 300 games. Twenty six times I’ve been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I’ve failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed.” – Michael Jordan legendary basketball player.

In rounding off, the next-door neighbour of failure is success – yeah life could be very ironic!

Many are success and successful already but because they don’t know what success is, maybe too goal-oriented they keep perceiving themselves as failures.
