‘Welcome to Marriage.’

The JJCs are here and so we welcome to marriage all new couples the world over.

To the newest couples across the globe we say ‘Welcome to marriage.’

You’re JJC and you just discovered this unoccupied and fertile land called Marriage. Yes a newfound land discovered by Mr. & Mrs. and to be built by no other but you both.

You may decide to build a village, maybe town or city, or even city of cities – the choice is yours!

Remember that all those who accompanied you on this trip had all gone back so the two of you will jointly and yes independently build the type of structures you want on this new land of yours and as a team you need teamwork.

Be selfless. Be patient. Show tolerance. Express love. Show affection and attention. Be understanding. Have a receptive heart and be willing to learn, unlearn and relearn. Learn to adjust and adapt to changing times and events. Forgive and seek forgiveness.

Siblings who have similar backgrounds have different experiences, expectations, beliefs … much less couples. So be sensitive, sensible and smart. But above all, lay the foundation of your home on God and it will stay compact and intact come what may so partner with God.

Heaven help those who help themselves.
