Radio boasts of audience in homes, offices, workshops, hospital wards, markets, stores, schools … and yes motorists and commuters in traffic, travellers on highways all listen to radio. (social media)

February 14 is waves of love and romance blowing across the globe but in Nigeria 2019 edition of Val is about romance and elections. And since elections are here media is the trend; the babe and bae.

Radio isn’t loyal to power outage and it suits all demographics – literates and unlettered, young and old, male and female and the prevailing circumstances here make radio central to media and many are closer to the device now than ever before.

Elections mean radio and February 14 is love and romance so late American country music crooner, storyteller Don Williams is trending with his sensational tune Listen to the Radio. And yes we are listening to the radio for elections update and not forgetting the content of the music is anchored on love and romance.
