Fashion as Life and Lifestyle.

Agbada style powered by three men. Call it waves of agbada (social media)

@ image: One style (agbada). Three designs. Three colours. Three personalities.

Fashion many times gossips our social status, tastes, beliefs and sometimes religion.

They say some things about our favourite colours, designs/designers, dos and don’ts … we know some notable Nigerians who love colour white but do they wear white shoes? No!

White fabrics flow but white shoes don’t. Black rules the world of shoes and brown is first-runner up.

Many ladies even men are very detailed and selective when they want to meet their future in-laws for the first time because first impression lasts long and the impression comes from our feathers (clothes). Your future in-laws would access your feathers and use to assess you and process you vis a vis their son or daughter!

The issue of nudes in fashion is delicate. Nudity is relative and what Taiye sees as nude may not be rude to Jaiye. We have our standard on this site hence what we accept and publish and any slight slip to the other extreme is tolerable but not acceptable and I know some of you have an idea of this.

Humans are fashion. We speak fashion. Interpret fashion and react or respond to fashion differently. Some react inappropriately and some respond appropriately. Which shows that fashion affects us all and our personality and beliefs often come to bear.

Some ladies experience insults even physical assaults in some places and are celebrated in another. Some famous people wear some clothes and receive applause anonymous people do and are thrashed by the same set of people. Sentiments and emotions live and breathe on ‘No. 100 Style Way Fashion Estate, Fashion Island’.

People will judge you by what you show them and it’s not their fault. Be good. Be stylish, classy but don’t reveal too much. Don’t be a mobile theatre. Suspense sells big in love and life! So don’t go overboard.

Social status impact fashion and affect its audience. Religion, societies also have standards for fashion and their adherents.
