Interviews: Convictions and Contributions of Nigerian Youths in Advancing Nigeria.

We sampled the opinions of our respondents (Nigerian youths) to know the little things they are doing to make Nigeria a better place to live in after all the status quo in Nigeria is the sum total of our individual input.

“I used to think I contributed nothing to Nigeria but after becoming ‘Word & Sanctuary’ member I realized God is all we need and in pleasing God by obeying His word and doing His will we are indirectly doing ourselves good as peoples. The world is full of evil and as we go out on a daily basis to evangelize Christ, we are orientating people and transforming lives and by so doing we are transforming our society and the world at large.” – Modupe Afolayan.

“I’m sensitive to the issue of security agents because they protect our lives and secure our properties which is more or less like putting their  lives on the line for others, and based on this I tip them and that’s not bribery (and corruption) because it’s got  no link whatsoever with me committing an offence!” – Adewumi Adeyemi

In rounding off for today, our take:

If you’re a Nigerian youth and you’re not into any crime whatsoever, you are a success story believe me. Yes success isn’t just about power, wealth, fame, goodwill, good spouse, lovely children, great home, nice grades in college, awesome job, sound health but it’s also self-respect, dignity and integrity.
